    Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

Aside from the ridiculousness of them not knowing which countries it was over, I didn't think they had enough fuel to fly on for eight hours.

    Backup VPS

Unfortunately for the OP, they are running such a massive organization that they can get away with this. @AMDbuilder will never be able to match that. And for that matter, Google might even be running that at a loss, just to suck people in so the NSA can monitor them and their files :) I wonder...

ColoCrossing, Quick to Get Large IP Blocks Issued and Faster to Soil Them

Curious - some providers will SWIP the IPs they rent to you to your business/personal info. If this happens, does SpamHaus (or any other spam DB organization) recognize this and block just the IPs that are SWIPed to you that are spamming?

    AIT "Cloud" suspends hourly billing

Ahh, well then that most likely explains it. I just got the invoice for $5, due April 1st.

Double Disk! | VPS From $2/m | cPanel NOC Partner | Crissic Solutions LLC

Well, since nLayer is merging in to Tinet, probably they're doing this to stay ahead of the game. Eventually they'll just drop nLayer. Nice offer, BTW.

    AIT "Cloud" suspends hourly billing

Interesting that you haven't gotten it yet, but you probably will eventually - I just got this info. If you don't get it in the next few hours though, post back. Are you on hourly billing or did you go monthly? I would imagine this info is only being sent out to customers with hourly billing.

    AIT "Cloud" suspends hourly billing

Just now got a call from AIT in regards to my account, and was surprised to find out that they are suspending hourly billing for their new "cloud" service. I was told that I had until Friday to switch over my service with them to monthly billing. No explanation was given, but I have a feeling it...

    Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

It boils down to this: if it's been hijacked, then it had to be landed somewhere, and there really isn't anywhere that a plane that size could land without someone knowing about it. If it crashed, then how did it happen? If by an inept hijacking attempt, why was there originally so much skill in...

    Review of BudgetVM

Yes, I should have mentioned this. I'm in their Chicago location, though I also have boxes with them in L.A. and Dallas, and have not had connectivity issues with either. @nunim You're not the first person I've heard from with bad experiences at BudgetVM. It really seems to be a love/hate...

    Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

I agree. I think there is some group - likely some government - that knows more than they're telling.

GTT Merging nLayer into Tinet ASN

Ahh, I see, I didn't realize Query Foundry was yours. Or, to be more exact, I forgot. Now that I look at it, I see that the IP with my VPS with y'all is in the Query Foundry ASN. I guess I wouldn't mind seeing some Tinet in there.

GTT Merging nLayer into Tinet ASN

I thought it made more sense that @concerto49 was talking about transit, but Cloud Shards doesn't have their own ASN. How does that work?

    Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

@hellogoodbye That image made me lose it. So many things wrong with it. "Journey of epic proportions"...yeah, that's one way to put it. "Wherever you go, no one will ever know" - that's for sure. To me the funniest part is that the pictured plane isn't actually a Boeing 777 - it's an...

RamNode looking for a new panel

I'd be first in line to test any panel put together that fits these requirements. Sweet stuff, all of it.

    Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

First of all, you're wrong about landing distance. Maybe 2,800 to 3,000 meters, but a beast like definitely that won't land in 3,000 feet. Furthermore, I doubt many abandoned airbases would have that much runway, not to mention the condition it would be in. It's a big job to restore/build a...

    Review of BudgetVM

I haven't done any reviews of hosting providers lately, despite the fact that I use a lot of them. So today I am going to be reviewing one of my favorite providers: BudgetVM. Let me start by saying that my main "production" server hosting most of my websites is with them, and I completely trust...

    Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

While this is a possibility, it seems strange that it hasn't happened yet. At this point, the (theoretical) hijackers have had the plane for 8 days. That is way more than enough time to kill/dispose of the passengers, refuel, select a target, and fly it to its destination for the attack. Even if...

GTT Merging nLayer into Tinet ASN
