New Solusvm Rlease - 1.14 Stable

That's a joke right? No way a for-profit company deals with such amaetur code.

    Updates on SolusVM alternatives?

I disagree, I don't see how you can come to such a conclusion. It's that mentality that keeps software from reaching it's full potential. If someone has the skill, why re-invent the wheel with another system when one could modify Proxmox? It's open source for a reason. I look at Proxmox VE as a...

Never use this of hosting company

Copyright protects content, it has nothing to do with the domain name/registration. So if the content was used on a seperate domain, and transfered to another domain it wouldn't change the copyright as long as the original owner stays the same. Besides, typically it should be posted as...

    Volumedrive about to deadpool?

Which means nothing. You can lease cars and use a credit card for everything else. You don't need money to have things, just enough for the down payment and "promise" to pay it back later. You can also avoid paying bills, which would raise your net profit on the "books".

    Volumedrive about to deadpool?

A few months a go they made public their system, it was about 40% functional. Had basic billing and support features with the rest "coming soon". I think the industry is driving the prices down considerably low, similar to what the CD industry did with their music club promotions back in the...

    Updates on SolusVM alternatives?

Any organization can take Proxmox VE and modify it anyway they like (open source). Seems to be the most stable platform around. The only issue is that it doesn't hold your hand as SolusVM does/did.

    Volumedrive about to deadpool?

I honestly don't know why a company would use Volumedrive to host paying customers. With their extremely low pricing, and the fact that they just recently rolled out a billing/support system.

Best free or cheap (one time payment) billing & support systems?

I highly recommened you check out Blesta. I've been using their new version 3 since the early beta. 99% of it is open source and it's very well written. The guys in charge are involved with the community, and it's quite easy to develop custom modules. It has a low price point as well.

OS or projects that need mirrors or torrent seeding

Think of the FOSS you use, and/or take a look around distrowatch.com, tons of forks/distributions listed that could use mirroring. But if your server isn't going to be around for more than a few years I wouldn't waste anyones time if it's just because you have free resources.

    SwiftVM Shutting Down

A lot of people try to get in the industry by simply having cheaper services than the next business in the market. They soon find out you need to turn a profit just to maintain such services. The more clients you have, the more likely things will go wrong, which is hard to manage with razor thin...

ChicagoVPS / CVPS Hacked. New SolusVM exploit? (Content Restored) [PT. 1/2]

Why would you assume he's lying, because you don't like what he said? After SolusVM has been exposed for their bad programming techniques, is this really that hard to believe?

This has always been my viewpoint of any online presence.

HOW-TO: Protect from recent SolusVM exploits.

Thus creating another layer to exploit. The problem is SolusVM poor coding techniques Are your IPtable policies being logged? What do they say? I don't use SolusVM so I can't help much.
