@HalfEatenPie is right. You can set up your business based in any data centre, but server setup, security, management and supporting your clients (among other things) will all be your responsibility.

There's an option to allow PHP in templates which is off by default. Simple enough to turn back on if you really need it. I do agree it's likely for the best to be hesitant pushing this to production so soon though.

Saw a small write up with a few photos on this place a few weeks ago on hacker news. Pretty interesting to get a slightly better look into the place with a local.

This would be kind of cool if you could generate say a gpg key, share it with a friend and encrypt/decrypt messages on the devices themselves rather than server side. Your backend application would just perform storage & transport of messages, and never have reference to the keys.
