Look at Burst.Net's method of informing customers about their promotion policy. They have a checkbox on the order page that explicitly states it to avoid any confusion, and requires the customer to check the box. If you care then you should do the same.

Fair enough. Still, a) I don't think most people re-read the terms of service after the first time, B) you could have made it more clear about the promotions (by showing on order page) but didn't do so, and c) you could have refunded the money to my Paypal account instead of keeping it locked...

Can you clarify which of the restricted uses you were planning on using? The uses are mostly to curb the number of abuse complaints. Also if you search on LET we made offer for $7/mo for the same plan.

Also exec statements could be done better; if you can't find a library that handles argument escaping, then implement something that does the escaping automatically from arguments instead of using escapeshellarg every time. Probably you could just pass in an array of separate arguments...
