Not a provider too but two features I am missing:
First internal network. I don't want to use vpn or iptables to run backend services on a public ip.
Second virtual routers or loadbalancers. Owning a pool of internal and external ips and the possibility to direct them to one of my vps.
This takes me by suprise. I know many tasks that run at specific times. Do provider not talk to customers to share load times? I have one company sending me a suggestion to move some of my crons one hour a head. Did not have a problem with that.
They started promos knowing that it will end bad for their new customers. And they closed the doors on twitter and facebook first to cover their backs. Last point on their todo list was informing their customers. Reckless double dealers.
It is about the vds6 discussion: http://vpsboard.com/topic/2524-servers-in-unusual-locations/
Reason could be how hosting companies in Russia handle business.
Good to see a panel supporting debian. The settings for apache and ngix are confusing. What is the difference between the different settings like "hosting"? Domain settings are rudimental.
Googled and found that you can define an alias in postfix
1. sudo vi /etc/aliases
2. add:
[email protected]: "| php -q /home/user/script.php"
3. newaliases
4. /etc/init.d/postfix reload
Check that nobody can run the script.
dd is a indicator which has to be interpreted. If a company sells "pure ssd" plans and you get 0.9 mb/s it might not be a ssd plan. But you will not notice any difference between 100mb/s and 200mb/s.
