    Install OpenVZ on CentOS 6

You know some kids searching Google will stumble upon this page; copy, paste, then summer host their way into being hacked ;) . I wonder what percentage of people read the comments to see the possible dangers?

What is the best way to block Torrent Ports

Just tell your friends, that you see them downloading that pr0n, and GTFO.  Of you can do something more sinister, for example when the bittorrent connections are connected you could cause it to flip all websites upside down  http://www.ex-parrot.com/~pete/upside-down-ternet.html This would...

What do you look for in a provider?

That's what im thinking. When I think of transparency in a hosting company backblaze comes to mine because of how open they are with the community on how they get the job done. The complete opposite would be someone like go-daddy or some of the freaking large companies that try to hide nearly...

What do you look for in a provider?

Upstream Providers - Reverse lookups, IP Registration, Pings Pricing - Promotions Support with fairly quick response ToS fine print... some providers want to be dictators. Decent reviews No drama linked with the company. (Ex. CVPS) See how active their social networks are to make sure its...

    Linode Managed! Very reasonably priced!

So say you have 5 nodes, but you only want to manage 1, they charge you the whole 500$, that sounds rather ridiculous . All or nothing! (lottery reference)

Stallion 2 - pictures and daily updates :)

Was the last horse head the same as your forum picture? Edit: Old: http://209.141.39.7/ - New: http://199.19.227.70/login.html I kind of  really like the new one, it has more of a sharper look to it really making it match the font that sits beside it :) Just feels.. more professional. It may...

    Free Self-hosted Project Management Software?

Ive heard pretty good reviews on opengoo, though I believe they changed their name to FengOffice due to some dispute relating to opengoo = opengoogle. Anyways heres the free/open source version of what its sucessor is. http://www.fengoffice.com/web/opensource/ +1 for Trello, but it needs to...

    Too many VPS Sites

http://vpsboard.com/index.php?/topic/405-lowendguidecom-updates/#entry6232 Have you taken a look at this, maybe you both can collaborate with @MannDude to make it the main guide area. Though I think the community is trying to get away from LowEnd*

    Too many VPS Sites

Could start by filtering LET by tags with tutorials and asking for permission to repost in the new wiki. Not sure if it would be easier/better to just start with new content completely, though the fact is it will be probably lacking for a while without prepopulating it with known working...

What do you use your Raspberry Pi for?

http://www.technobuffalo.com/2013/05/13/google-io-2013-sensors-data-collection/ If I had the money I would probably attempt to do something like that, I think it would be extremely interesting to see what kind of data our house would put out it it were monitoring various environmental features...

    Too many VPS Sites

Maybe a tab at the top of the website that says Guides or Tutorials, and users can be trusted to possibly add new tutorials? Or something completely open for anyone to change like an embedded wiki?

Any VPS Database with Data Center info?

Im sure the multiple ideas by themselves would be fairly nice, but meshed together could be fairly incredible. But as you, I would be considered a noob, but hey never hurts to learn something new ;)

Any VPS Database with Data Center info?

I see so instead of JUST a database with information about hosts and datacenters, it would be a full blown web application that can ping for up-times, latency from different locations and feed that back to the user with a full report on what datacenters would be suitable to them.  Seems like...

Namecheap Domain Registration/Transfer for less than $1!

Maybe they know how namecheap sells/spam the email addresses of the buyers during these 1$ promos. Wasn't that an issue that came up fairly recently?

FBI Has a slight bit of Humor

If the FBI uses it, it MUST be secure ;)  All laughing aside, the Plone site itself leaves much to be desired, and the fact that Plone added that comment (if they did) to their framework shows the semi unprofessional nature of the software itself.

    Too many VPS Sites

Wouldn't this require the writers for each site to submit each guide, or someone would have to copy and paste each guide one at a time. Maybe @, is looking for something completely automated?

    Too many VPS Sites

Some sort of VPS site aggregation service.  Bring in LowEndTalk, LowEndBox, vpsBoard, WHT VPS, (not familiar with any others).  Then display it in a really nice fashion with maybe some sort of single sign on so you can reply to topics from all those sites directly from this aggregation site...

Any VPS Database with Data Center info?

This actually sounds like a really neat idea. Maybe include a reverse lookup, and it can relate IP blocks to certain providers. Say if a website is down frequently, a reverse lookup could tell what host to avoid maybe and what datacenters they use. I've actually wanted a tool similar to this...
