the problem with these free panels are they are often target of hackers due to the projects usually being open source/ unencrypted and issues listed publically in github

be it spam emails, a client trying to do denial of service attack, or running a miner, silent throttling is the key.  there are scripts out there that limit the number of emails going out from a vps, when it hits over limit , it silently discards them. And then the fun part begins when abusing...

I played along for sometime with my dsc-t90 and it seems like it does the job well if i increase iso sensitivity to 1200 and set it in twilight mode with a tripod, but it introduces a lot of noise.  I guess it is time to jump in dslr cameras will need to save up a bit  :D

Most providers are giving away ips for throwaway prices because they showed the need to ARIN and since they have to utilize 80% of the allocated ip or the block might be taken back, which they are afraid of.

it really depends if you are using vps for bandwidth intensive scripts or high data consuming scripts
