Just to answer this question anyway - we use the SolusVM (VPS & Cloud), cPanel Extended, DNS Manager, and we lightly use advanced billing (which would only cause an issue during checkout of some products).  I know DNS Manager and SolusVM Extended VPS were being used for a good part of the day...

I now have quite a few monitoring services going and Monitor.us is still the only one reporting downtimes -- however they have reduces drastically the past few days. I'll have to create a script that performs checks whenever I receive an alert from any of them... it will save me a bit of stress!

They were under a DDoS attack which affected license checking -- everything is working fine now and they'll be updating modules to fix the licensing issue when their services are unavailable.

I always recommend a fresh install with updates installed -- it may take a little for your domain to switch back to the godaddy nameservers.

yes -- if you're using godaddy's name servers to manage your DNS, then point your domain to godaddy's nameservers.
