That's true. If spamhaus do notify you of repeated spamming on IPs prior to blacklisting the whole block then I fully support that.

VPS with a VPN service on it is best for safety. It's not bulletproof though, providers can look in and even if you encrypt your VPS they can sniff the traffic. Providers shouldn't do this unless legally enforced but it can happen.

Amazon gift codes is a risky idea. You'll either end up with no-one purchasing it because there is no /contract/ that you will get a VPS in return or you will have a lot of Amazon credit and no way to pay for your server.

These type of products take a while to get traction. Luckily we got to the front page of very high traffic-driving site on the second day of our launch. Business has slowed down but we're still getting frequent orders. I'd recommend having a non-bitcoin "mainstream" Payment gateway...

They should probably confirm it's a vulnerability before putting something like that out into the wild. At least they got it fixed.
