Please share serverbear bench.
I ran a bench but the results are pretty weird on DISK IO. We have a ticket open with nLayer regarding their network issues, no response back yet unfortunately. http://serverbear.com/benchmark/2013/09/19/pInmKTsr9UjcTNZ8

As far as Network speeds specific to Softlayer, we pick them up via TELX and I'm pretty confident Softlayer only runs a 100mbps line to TELX. Pre-TELX it was giving us much better results.

Host node itself:

[root@jax5 vz]# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync; unlink test 16384+0 records in 16384+0 records out 1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 5.67928 s, 189 MB/s

Again just as a reminder nLayer is being wonky for results, which is producing significantly reduced speeds where we normally get much better.

Yeah disk latency is pretty high, not so good for my databases. Still usable for something else, though. If disk issues could be solved I wouldn't mind getting few more boxes.

Anyhow, couldn't complain for their support. First time I received a same minute response.

Is it a performance issue real-world use or did you run a benchmark? VPSMON is setup to limit benchmarks ran to prevent excessive load that isn't real-world applications.

Using ioping script. As shown by your posted serverbear link, low iops and varied latency.

That is being limited? Have not really tested with real-world apps yet.

It's possible. I'm going to see what I can figure out relating to the serverbear benchmark, not sure why it's so bad.
