Happy 12/13/14...well, except for you Europeans

Today is 12/13/14.

Which we Americans can celebrate...and Europeans can only look on enviously, because there will never be a 13th month that will allow them to celebrate 12/13/14.

This reminds me of Pi Day (3/14) which is also impossible for Europeans to enjoy.

I admit the American Monday/Day/Year system seems nonsensical...but it seems to have some distinct advantages

Its all the british to blame, they brought the universal calender; so time for every country to use their own date system (not just the notation)

Calendar and metric system is OK. Unless you want to use China's measurement system which is very very difficult.
