I have been looking for hours on Google and and tried several ways to change the innodb_buffer_pool_size on my VPS but i seriously need help please!!!

Tried putty but innodb_buffer_pool_size doesn't come up for me to change.

I have no experience at all.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

It seems your are using the Linux VPS hosting. Please refer to the following steps to change the innodb_buffer_pool_size limit.

    stop mysqld service.
    Open the following file
    nano /etc/my.cnf
Change the value of innodb_buffer_pool_size as per your requirement.
save the file and start the MySql service.
    start mysqld

Please let us know if you have any query.
