Hungary Proposes New Tax on Its Internet Traffic

Crazy idea. Was this weekend myself in Hungary and didn't know this yet. Also tax regrading the phone call is something I was unaware of (waiting to get the bills . Yet Hungary seems to have some other strange factors aswell. Max speed limit is 110KM/h and they charge service rate on food?

Luckily the hotels, city (Budapest), food and woman are good (-;

Taxes are innevitable - not just on internet, but on anything quite frankly - it is fortunate the taxes are slow to take hold so its help the Internet over the last 20 years explode in side/scope.  But governments are too tempted to dive into that revenue.
