Joomla/WHMCS Integration

Hello,

Has anyone had any experience with smoothly intertwining the popular CMS with the widely used hosting management & billing system?

Just curious to know what methods and approaches you may have used.

That is a nightmare waiting to happen. It is bad enough when we clean up businesses' servers after we find them hosting word press on the same user as their billing system.

NEVER host multiple web apps on the same server as your billing. Big no-no.

This, only 100x worse. Wordpress is so much easier to secure because it has less individual components. Joomla is either something you constantly keep up to date on every level, along with strict mod_sec rules, or something you watch get demolished for whatever the latest exploit was in whatever editor component is installed.

You could "integrate" them without having them on the same server.  Not clear what the OP means.

Is it just "you create an account in WHMCS and an account in Joomla is also created" or something like that?

Similar look & feel?
