LG Televisions caught sending your network share file information back to the LG mothership

LG needs boycotted.  All these big pig companies understand is economics.  No regards for privacy of their customers.

LG now has been sniffed sending back to LG servers not only information about the TV, watching habits, etc.  But now, the damn TVs seem to be broadcasting up to mama file share information:

Smart TVs are too smart. I don't have cable so I can care less if my TV knows what Netflix, Amazon, Google, and Comcast already know.

Either to sell or to target their marketing I imagine.


Even if I did have an LG smart TV (Samsung all the way ) having my usage logged wouldn't really worry me. I already have a 3rd party tracking what I watch so I can keep track of what I watch and I'm sure they sell it. Hell, why wouldn't they?
