mod_pagespeed on cPanel shared environment

Has anyone tried using mod_pagespeed on a shared hosting environment?

How's the result? Did you install it on a production server?

Any adverse effects?

Hmm.. really? But does it run properly right after installation or are there other custom configurations did you make? I'm afraid it might break working websites.

Works great. Rarely breaks anything. Generates a lot of crap log entries.

I use it on one of my cpanel installs and have had 0 issues with it.

Thanks for the comment guys! I am planning to use it on a project (kinda heavy) but the server is also currently hosting other small websites.I need further research I guess.
