Mumble Streaming

Mun

Never Forget
I am looking to build a Media Stream to Mumble client so that I can make a music channel on my mumble server. (It does work I have done it)

What I am wondering is what would be suggested (OpenVZ/KVM/Dedicated)?

Is their some suggestions on what I should do?

Should I look for VMs with Encryption on the CPU support?

How do I minimize load?

Etc.

All help is appreciated.

p.s. a good electronica station would also be appreciated.

OpenVZ works great with Mumble although if your using Encryption within Mumble then Encryption support on the CPU would be useful.

I would say any of the above options will be fine.  It is a matter of your budget and how many clients you are looking to host.  The advantage of going with a VPS is that you can always upgrade down the road if you need a bigger slice of hardware.  Usually an upgrade can be done very quickly with minimal downtime.
