network activity monitoring

hi! i just wondering if you guys can recommend an open source program that will allow me to monitor my user's network activity like visited website, current tcp/udp connection, traffic used both download and upload stuff like that. Thanks..

Try darkstat, iftop, netstat for basic monitoring. But on the other side, what's your user is? A shared hosting? A tunnel user? An openvpn user?

sflow is the de-facto standard if you need to measure 'conversations'.
