OpenVPN - Internal traffic only

Hi,

I am looking for some guidance on how to configure OpenVPN clients to send only VPN traffic over the VPN. I.e. I want to be able to hold open a VPN connection between a small group of servers and have them all allocated 10.8.0.x IPs, they should they be able to communicate with each VPSes also allocated 10.8.0.x IPs securely over the OpenVPN tunnel.

enable client-to-client in the server configuration files and also make sure the VPN isn't the default gateway and rather setup static routing.

That's what I'd suggest.

Of course I'd say if you're going that route don't go OpenVPN and use an alternative solution.

I've heard many people use this: http://www.tinc-vpn.org/ for their internal network systems.
