Hello guys,

I'm here announcing the launch of PetaByet V1. I've spent a month improving it, providing better & more accurate benchmark reports.

PetaByet offers fast & easy server benchmarking. It takes only 2-5 minutes to complete and tests your disk IO + network. Furthermore, it checks your server's system information and network information. A web based report will be generated, with benchmark details, a PetaByet Score rating (0-10) and an option to embed the benchmark on your websites!

Sample reports: RamNode NL | Vultr CHI | Vultr NL | Virtuovo | BackupsySort
Sample embedded report: My initial Results with Vultr Hosting thanks @k0nsl !

Fixes/New Features:
[FIX] Fixed an issue that causes the GeoIP API to provide incorrect results
[FIX] Fixed the disk space calculation issue on some servers
[FIX] Bandwidth calculation for some servers
[FIX] Better layout on the homepage
[FIX] Increased security/ anti-cheating
[NEW] New benchmark report permalink structure
[NEW] PetaByet Score
[NEW] Bandwidth average overview
[NEW] Embedded reports
[NEW] View random benchmarks
[NEW] Sort benchmarks
[NEW] GeoIP/JsonIP API

Looks really good.

Is this a script you'll be licensing out at any point in time?

No, I'll not be selling/showing the code to the public, however the whole platform will be kept free to use.
Well, the code *is* publicly available. In fact I just made some changes so that it would work with ArchLinux as well, since it's the distro I use most. I was just going to ask if you'd like to incorporate the changes to your script :)

I meant the PHP/MySQL backend.

Yes, sure, PM me with your script.

You can put the location in the plan field or provider field, like this one.

Thanks for the suggestion.
That won't actually change the Location field though...

Location:Matawan, New Jersey, United States
See what I mean? It's not accurate and some users are not that tech savy to know that an IP's geo-location is always going to be the ISP's corporate location.
