There are serious hacks for scooters though. Usually replacing the batteries with newer chemistries and larger capacity.
I think scooters are pretty interesting. I have some town nuts who ride them around even though I swear nothing wrong with them other than mentally. One guy flies down the road at probably 20 MPH some nights. Insane.
