No Singlehop in Chicago? :(

Anyhow, nice to see someone use Singlehop. They're great. :)

Do you have an AUP/TOS? I cannot find it anywhere. Reason for asking? I didn't want to "Russian roulette" my decision only to find out IRC/IRCds are prohibited..

That's questionable :p
Not at all. There is no question that the vast majority of VPS companies (at least in the low end VPS "industry") use SolusVM. Whether the quality of the software is such that it should be "industry-leading" is another matter entirely.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I have a DNS box in L.A. that's up for renewal with another provider, and I'm considering using a different provider. That $20/year box is a very nice offer, but I have a couple of concerns. I noticed that the looking glass test IP is in the 192.* range, and I was wondering if you had any IPs in other ranges. Purely cosmetic, I know, but I've managed to swing a different /8 in each location so far, and it would be nice to keep that up. Here's what I have so far:

23.* (Jacksonville)
107.* (Dallas)
172.* (L.A.)
192.* (Seattle)
198.* (NYC)

So basically, I'd love to get an IP that is not in the 23.*, 107.*, 192.*, and 198.* ranges. Can you arrange that?

Second, I see the default price for the L.A. deal is $120 a year. The coupon, then is for $100 off per year, which makes me nervous. If you're giving out that big of discounts (with the wildcard SSL to boot!), either the VPS isn't worth much due to overselling, or you'll have trouble staying afloat. Put bluntly, which is it? If neither, then how do you swing a 1GB VPS with two IPs and a wildcard SSL for $20/year?

Edit: Also just noticed that your website only lists one IP on the "VPS 2" plan, whereas this offer and your billing area say two. I assume it's two, but either way, it goes without saying that you should update the relevant materials.

We have multiple /24's and /25's in LA so if needed can provide different ranges.

The reason we can give $100 discounts on yearly plans is because we get good deals on our hardware and full paying customers subsidise these cheaper deals.

We get wildcard SSL's for free so don't mind passing the deal on to our customers.

Hello Sir,

I want to go with the $3 VPS, am I eligible for the Free Wildcard Certificate?

Thank you in advance.
