When your SSL certs expire that were created by WHM on install. Is there an easy way to recreate them? I assume this has to be done via WHM in some way?

If you're referring to the self-signed certs that it uses for internal stuff, yeah, it's simple.
Go to 'Manage Service SSL Certificates' in WHM, under 'Service Configuration' and just select, 'Reset Certificate' for the service(s) in question.
Since they're self-signed, you'll probably need to manually accept them in your browser after re-creating them.
