Hi Folks,

Looking for a windows VPS.

I would prefer EU or East cost USA at a push.

Looking for between 2 - 8GB Ram

2 x IPv4

IPv6 would be nice.

About 20 GB Disk space would be good.

100mbit connection is fine, 500GB x-fer

2008 R2 Standard or enterprise.

KVM or VMWare but no Xen HVM please :)

All offers considered as I am looking for 2 initially followed by another 2 soon after, no specific budget in mind.

Thanks.

Ant.

DewlanceVPS? Haha.

Okay, seriously definately take a look at Corgitech, it's VMWare, although they don't have one of their 50% off deals right now ask the live chat guy to knock a few dollars off if needed. They have NL and UK locations, once you add on everything you need it can get a bit pricey and not sure on the Windows license price although I *think* it may be free.

There's also ThrustVPS if you can trust them I guess.

But...but...Dewlance has AutoBoot. I think @AnthonySmith needs that!

Anyway, I've also seen good things about CorgiTech, so check them out. I would say us, but we don't offer KVM yet :p

If you can wait for a couple of days I can help you out with a KVM VPS on the US East Coast at a decent price. SSD cached as well.

If you bring your own licence the Dual Core KVM plan we offer should fit your needs.

Curious: Is there a reason why Xen HVM is not usable for you?

Even when running with upstream qemu instead of qemu-dm?

Generally I have found HVM based Windows not to perform as expected but I am happy to have my mind changed.

I will get back to everyone, I have been delayed in starting this project by at least a week due to external complications.

For just 72$/m you can have a windows server 2008 VPS with 9.2ghz cpu, 2gb ram, 40gb space and 12tb bandwith. ( I will pay the windows license personally ).

If you need another plan ( like less cpu and more ram ), please let me know. I will provide you the plan you need.

Contact me per email ( [email protected] )
