2014 New Years Resolutions

It's that time where you go offline, sit in traffic, sit in that airport and contemplate how 2014 will be a better year for you.

It is new years resolution time.

What are you considering as your new years resolution(s)?  How did the ones every prior year work out?

Let's go for it :)

New year resolutions...

1. More time exercising - functionally.  Walks to restaurants, stores, etc.  Heck even the mall might be fine as I do trips around it with the rest of the senior citizens.

2. Plant more food -  when spring finally arrives it is serious growing time.  Last year I threw in the towel mid season since things got rather busy with work.

Excellent!

Now mine:

1. Spend more time with family.  I have a good family who really show their worth when it counts.  Time to give a little bit of that back

2. Go to sleep earlier.  I'm not getting any younger and late nights are starting to kill me

Mine will be learning some new programming languages, and maybe starting a business at some point (no not VPS one). Maybe finally get around to coloing something too lol.

Other than that, I'd also like to exercise more. I'm not exactly in a bad position on weight, but I'm losing my once decent highschool athlete physique.

I quit smoking in November, so that cleared me up for making my New Years resolution to get back in shape. Grown a little soft around the edges over the past couple years of being mostly idle in front of a PC. Already kick started this though, have already lost about 8lbs and trying to lose maybe 20 more.  My size 32X32 jeans are fitting a bit tighter than I'd like and I'd rather lose the beer belly than buy new clothes :)

I'm still skinny as crap, I've got the wrists of a 12 year old girl, but all the excess weight I've cultivated has gone to the gut and upper legs. Time to shed that off. MannDude wants to go to the beach next year and relax in the sun without my gut  B)

My new years resoultion is to take more breaks from the computer, look for a better job that pays more.

The one thing I look forward to is looking at my bill in Janurary and thinking, "why did I spend all that money?"

Want a gym pass for Christmas?
I wouldn't use it. I'm honestly far more interested in biking so I'd just have to replace the one that got stolen a few years ago.

I always found the gym to be boring.

Make life better for my better half. Even if it kills me.

Start a business maybe and get our new house in order. Needs some remodeling but first need to make some money. Not an easy thing to do in my situation.

Grow more of my food and buy less. Become more self sufficent and less dependent on stores.
