I am facing a issue with my current provider and want to move to other datacenter.

I need a server with at lest 4x1TB HDD and e3 (not e5 or any other)

Port speed 1Gbps, 5TB bandwidth.

Thanks,

Kunnu

I think that is who he was with before if I am not mistaken. Someone will come along soon with an offer an I am sure. What issues were you facing with your current provider anyhow? I'm curious.

Well I wonder who the existing provider is :)

Buffalo you aren't going to find on affordable / reasonable price side, except for one datacenter / provider that folks are selling.   So that city is wiped clean from shopping based on your problems.  Consider New Jersey or New York City or Toronto instead.

Chicago is a quieter place than it once was for offers.   Give these guys a look, they seem to be doing well and growing: https://ready2frag.com/dedicated  (yeah yeah they do game hosting as a focus for dedis and not usually my thing.   They are responsive... Not many shops I endorse or recommend.  Feel free to try them and then punch me if they drop the ball with your account.

Thanks for the recommendation!

If you choose to go with us, feel free to pop open a ticket, chances are we can offer you some exclusive discounts. I'll be up front about the possibility of delayed deployment times - we're currently under very heavy load for dedicated servers, and still have over 45 on order, but are working our hardest to get everyone the servers they need as quickly as possible. If you've got any questions about us, our parent company, facility, network, whatever - don't hesitate to contact me.

Colocrossing?

Yes, I want to get rid of Colocrossing.

I can't say how they are bad because of forum rules.. They are crap of hosting industry and If you will make a mistake and host with them then your company will close within few year.

My current provider fix my issue and I have decided to move my CC server to Arizona and close Buffalo location.

I will also move my one of my personal VPS from ColoCrash. (Every day they nullroute my IP for no reason.)

I am not a direct customer of CC, My current server provider(not cc) solve my issue and I have decided to close my buffalo server and move it to my Arizona server.

I bookmark this thread and later I will contact you and concerto49 for purchasing new server(Maybe after 1  or 2 month)

So someone is buying cheap as their upstream :) (Your provider that is)  Going from CC to PhoenixNAP and likely via a reseller.

I try to shop with direct gear and/or DC owners or at least shops managing their network.  Pure resllers often aren't a good experience.   Simple ticket stuff can 4x inflate as they delegate task to DC and have to field reply and pass on to you.

I also highly recommend for cheap dedicated servers the rent to owns at Dacentec.  Hard to beat what they offer and pretty good all around.  That location will cover the East Coast just fine, as good as backhaul to Buffalo ever did.  Lenoir is a backhaul location definitely.  Bunch of it goes out via Atlanta.

I tend to recommend well against using resellers like that... you'll have better luck upping your budget a bit and going with somebody that owns their hardware, or at least going directly with the company your provider is reselling. Sure, you might be getting a good deal... might... but you get all the plethora of problems that go with it.

I don't think we have any rules preventing that?
Yeah Colocrossing talk is allowed... even if unfavorable, actually unfavorable is encouraged, and not just for CC chat.

I have a bad experience in using colocation service so I prefer to lease server from company who colocate their own hardware.

CC 1Gbps port speed.

What location are you downloading from.  I mean if you're downloading from Australia then yeah CC's Buffalo location won't pull in much.

You probably got automatically rate-limited. Just tell the CC folks not to rate limit your server then you should not have any issues.
