Why do web hosts not use AMD processors in servers?

We used AMD's a lot back in the day when they out did Intel's, however it was up till they tried doing their Quad cores it lacked very hard from what Intel had released. Sadly over the years AMD kind of tanked on the server side of things the old Opteron's did great. When they tried to release...

Stripe, get a clue. Your chargeback system sucks

We have been very happy using Stripe, as someone else said they provide far more information about the order than PayPal ever does which makes it really simple to check for fraud. Add this with Fraud record it's pretty solid we can see when a customers credit card fails multiple times. They...

    The gun thread

He also forgot the part of hand guns we can't have a lot of those either. There is a restriction on how short the barrel can be on it or they are prohibited which means you can't take it out of your house even to the range, you can only sometimes get a permit for them to take to a gun show...

Which processor is good for big games?

It really depends on what you call big games,  for the most part you should be great hosting games using an Intel E3-1230 type of system. It works great with most large 32slot Source based servers and great for Minecraft servers. Really the only need for something else is if they can take...

    Looking For Single Server Colo

I think the main thing with this is looking for cheap is find and there are a lot of great places for it however an hour of remote hands pushes that away from being budget. Most places charge $125-250 an hour for remote hands. Will you mostly just need random reboots? Or full remote hands work...
