    BBB alternative for hosting industry

I was told recently that it was something along the lines of $150 or something. I know they offer a monthly payment plan but you have to have been in business for a year and be "approved". I can find out more tomorrow when their office is open. I'm sure it is the price I said above...

Any update on this? Just curious.

    BBB alternative for hosting industry

I think it would a good idea. But the issue would be how to get the provider to answer for their issues? A rating system is awesome, A+ through F- and the shields for their sites would be awesome as well. Make a nice image that shows something like what the BBB does. Have a page for each...

    Web based email

I'd say just install RoundCube in a subdomain on your site and you'll be good to go... Get some nice themes too :)

What are you thinking about for pricing MannDude? I'm thinking the low rotation would be $20/month and higher rotations would be more, depending on ad size and so forth. BuySellAds.com is just too high.. lol

Not a problem. I'm still game to offer a nice VPS to be auctioned off to benefit the board if that is still in the works.

I'll buy an ad. I'd also provide services for the forum as well. MannDude, when you get a chance, message me on Skype.

    [Poll] Signature Regulation (Unofficial Poll)

I voted. I'm thinking the WHT signature method is ok, but I think someone should be able to put their "not so flashy" banner on their signature instead of text. Colors, yea I would say limit it to 2 or 3 colors. No bashing other providers in the signature is good as well. 4 lines would be good...

WHMCS - Horrific Cleaning of variables leaves multiple zero-day possibilities

Really? How hard is it to figure out? I'm a provider just like others here. I use WHMCS and SolusVM... So, 'we' refers to all providers. Don't start acting like I'm a bad guy because I tried to help... I could of easily just covered my own ass and let everything happen... But I didn't... I...

WHMCS - Horrific Cleaning of variables leaves multiple zero-day possibilities

Just want to let yall know... SolusVM found issues with their WHMCS module... They said they fixed it... Go update if you haven't already... We should know something soon regarding if they didn't fix it completely or not.

WHMCS - Horrific Cleaning of variables leaves multiple zero-day possibilities

I'm almost positive the patch will be unencrypted... Don't have confirmation on that as of yet though... Just take a chill pill and let the work be done... He did notify WHMCS... They know about it now... Let's give them time to fix it...

WHMCS - Horrific Cleaning of variables leaves multiple zero-day possibilities

Not working with him... Trying to make sure everything gets resolved without anymore websites getting attacked... Simple as that... But by all means... If he releases it, and your site gets hacked... Don't blame me... I've done everything I could... From contacting WHMCS, Hostbill and SolusVM...

WHMCS - Horrific Cleaning of variables leaves multiple zero-day possibilities

Why you say that? Because I'm not just gonna let this slide? Because I am trying to help the community and not just myself? Listen, the SolusVM thing could of been prevented... I know that SolusVM can patch their issues but I'm more worried now about credit card and other info that may be stored...

How about we don't try and bash the guy... Lets listen and try and help instead of being assholes to the person thats trying to get them to fix their mistakes... Just an idea...

    SolusVM WHMCS Module from ModulesGarden

Yea, apparently it is taking a back seat to the audit right now... Might come out sooner or later... What I do recommend for any provider using SolusVM to do is lock down the access to SolusVM to only people who NEED it. Make sure the WHMCS or Hostbill plugin works and be done with that...

    SolusVM WHMCS Module from ModulesGarden

Instead of attempting to be a smartass you should learn to read. They're making a NEW version that you can do EVERYTHING that you can in the SolusVM control panel inside of WHMCS. Plain and simple. Supposedly it will be free. I know they are working on it. I'm a little annoyed right now, sorry...
