    I have OCD Help!

Fighting 1/2 of my OCD by refusing to vote. Failing to fight the other 1/2 of it by the compulsive need to post about what I didn't do. I fail at life.

    Billing system discussion

I'm watching with a lot of interest now that you're talking about panel integrations. I like the name, always have. The ios app developer can deal with it ;)

Yep! Haha I hope like hell that in the end people can at least say of me "Well, the guy was honest, even when he was stupid." ;)

It's certainly not the smallest footprint, but I really like MATE. Certainly not the biggest footprint around either.

DDoS-for-hire service is legal and even lets FBI peek in, says a guy with an attorney

Sure if you can just get written authorization from the datacenter/rack owner on the other end, each upstream provider in the middle, my datacenter, and my provider, you can DDOS taylorswift :)

DDoS-for-hire service is legal and even lets FBI peek in, says a guy with an attorney

It is absolutely legal. So long as you have the consent of everyone impacted from both ends and everywhere in between. Anyone willing to actually do that is alright in my book. This, however, is just humorous. Ask him how well that argument worked for Napster.

    Woolwich attack in UK!

Heard about that, could barely speak. That's the strangest terrorist attack I've heard of as everything I read indicates one target and one target alone. Where I come from we call that murder, not really a terrorist attack. Perhaps I'm just confused. My prayers are with the friends and family of...

WHT Bans the selling of HostBill Licenses

Is HostBill being dumb or are they actively scamming people? Are they taking people's money and not offering the product in return? WHT shouldn't be involving themselves otherwise, in my opinion. They've got actual scammers running rampant all over that place and they choose to ban...this? Way...

    Who prints VPS welcome e-mails?

I have a label for them in my gmail. I think I'm going to start parsing my e-mail for them and dropping them in evernote as well, as I'm already doing that with receipts. As we grow our business I am seeing more and more value in proper organization for even personal items.

    Liquidweb and domains featuring liquid

I think they could have a legitimate case for it. I think you might be confusing copyright. Trademark is an entirely different beast. Each case has to be evaluated for what it is, and given that neither "heroic" nor "liquid" are at all relevant words to describe items of this particular market...

Twenty years in prison for a Facebook post?

"Article" says the the media is twisting the wording to make him look guilty of something that he isn't. Article then sensationalizes it by focusing on one potential outcome of a court battle that hasn't yet happened as though that's the relevant detail. Internet being the internet, nothing...
