    Budget Phone Service

It looks like Motorola X is a phone. If not, link me to the service because I love carrying cheap phones.

    Budget Phone Service

Back in FL I always had wireless disabled and even used tethering with my netbook while I was out. I would regularly use 6GB of data a month and that's when I was pushing 10x faster speeds than here in CO. They do have a "strict" TOS but it's not enforced unless you really abuse it, heck, they...

    WHMCS Security Patch

Because of threads like this. I've never had a bad upgrade with WHMCS before but I read about people upgrading 5.2.x and their order forms breaking or they get blank pages or something like that.

    NSA can decrypt VPNs?

People think I'm crazy for putting tape over my cameras, but when I was in high school I found out just how easy it is to turn on and use somebody else's camera remotely and that was years ago before Google was a real thing. I do like the indicator lights some laptop companies put next to their...

    Budget Phone Service

I've been with RW since the beginning and I never plan to leave them. I pay $20/month for my plan and I paid $99 for the first phone (LG Optimus S) and the 2nd phone (Motorola Deny XT) was free. My wife got her phone (Motorola Defy XT) for free and she pays $29/month. I rarely use it for calls...

    WHMCS Security Patch

They actually have EOL dates now, which is really nice since I now have an exact deadline for getting Blesta up and running since 5.2.x scares the bajesus out of me.

    ARIN Phase III has started

They just lowered their prices July 1st, I don't expect to see a price increase in the near future. I also think ARIN prices are quite a bit higher than other RIRs.

NSA project, "X-Keyscore" collects nearly everything you do on the internet.

/me is impressed. I never had much faith in government agencies when it comes to intelligence gathering but my hat is off to the NSA if this is all true. It's hard to believe though but it makes me giddy inside thinking about it.

PHP Help needed (inserting an IP block into a MySQL database)

I'm keeping the tables exactly as SolusVM has them to make importing easier. Once I have everything moved over I can do manual cleanup on the database but for now I just want to export tables X, Y, and Z then import them into the new database.

    NSA can decrypt VPNs?

They got alien technology to make the rainbow tables with, then in an afternoon of glancing at ‘em, secrets don’t resist the loving coax of the mathematical calculation, heart of your mystery sent free-fall into palpitations. Computron will rise up in the dawn, a free agent. Nobody knows...

PHP Help needed (inserting an IP block into a MySQL database)

So I'm working on our SolusVM replacement and am hitting my head trying to figure out how to handle inserting hundreds of IPs at a time into a MySQL database. The field is varchar(30) and I was thinking of something like this (found the code while searching around): $main = $_POST["ip"]...

    NSA can decrypt VPNs?

Best of all, your secret: nothing extant could extract it.  By 2025 a children’s Speak & Spell could crack it.    You can’t hide secrets from the future with math.  You can try, but I bet that in the future they laugh  at the half-assed schemes and algorithms amassed  to enforce...

    Florida Datacenters

I've used them in the past. We moved out of there for a handful of reasons but it looks like they've grown a lot since we did and I've heard they've fixed all of those reasons we initially moved out.

    How do you type?

I think I'm going to give that a shot @Shados. This post was typed very slowly using the home row method.

Help me decide, I'm torn between 2 servers.

Correct. The 2 1TB drives are mine, the 500GB drive is theirs. It's one of the reasons I'm stilling hanging on to the server.

Help me decide, I'm torn between 2 servers.

I looked into both of these options and unfortunately I couldn't find any decent servers under $50/month and I can't afford to purchase a server to colocate right now. :(

Help me decide, I'm torn between 2 servers.

Adding some more things into the mix: 1) I just noticed I'm running low on disk space on my 256GB SSD so I'm getting a quote for a 2nd hard drive. 2) I'll be running a game server on whichever server I decide to keep. I think the lower latency and better network speeds would benefit me more.

    How do you type?

@, now that you mention it, I see my keyboard has the raised line on the F, J, and numpad 5 keys. I am glad to see there are some unique styles that I've never encountered before. Glad I'm not alone out there in not following the norm. :D

    How do you type?

So how many of you use the "home row"? How many of you hunt and peck? How many of you are like me and only type with your index fingers (thumb for space bar and pinky for shift/ctrl/alt though)? I type around 65-70 WPM which I know is pretty slow compared to all of you kids out there. I always...

    Website Proofreading - $7

Reading != Typing. I think it's a safe bet than 99.9999% of people read better than they write/type. Nobody has ever needed a spell check while reading. ;)
