    So, let's clear the air...

Just read a big expose on Kmart and the wealthy financial person behind the prior buy out... That company is just being parted out / liquidated for cash. Sadly low end folks aren't paying debts without incurring more.  Not like this kid will go flip burgers, dig ditches or clean toilets like...

Help me with my WiFi speeds

Billion 7800NXL looks like an interesting unit.  I cursory searched looking for mw info on the radio with no luck.  I'd turn the wifi off on that unit and get a more proper and proven high power AP. Walls are bad news with wifi and masonry (brick, cement, etc.) are really signal ruining.  I...

There was never any real / final contract style docs signed.  Handoff was more like a  quit, here are the keys, debt, clients, etc. Unsure where he's selling from now.  But I know of one free wildcard SSL network and those are to be used on their network / IP space, not all over the net...

    Gardening Time - 2015

Hoop houses are nice also because they can be moved around.  Not exactly portable, but way moreso than a greenhouse. There are more and more hoops houses being put on commercial fields each year.   Starting in field placed hoop houses gives crops at least 2-3 months head start which is...

Anyone running solar powered stuff at home?

Welcome to the forum @Eirbyte! Have you established the break even point for your own system?  Grid is cheap where the lines are already in place and just need connected mainly.  Still a lot of places where chunks of mile or miles necessary to get power to you, and that's insanely expensive...

    Gardening Time - 2015

Been a strange season here so far.  Frost at this point is pretty late... Typical frost ending date there normally this late? Greenhouses are fun, but have a bit of cost and need some thoughts for your place. Best idea likely is a hoop house.  Lots of folks use them to get seed starts going...

Jonny Nguyen - GreenValueHost - Raided by Police.

And I will note that the offer said PRE SALE in each and every of the first three lines.  Does WHT even allow presales?  Bad approach pre sales are.  Toxic like annuals. Also said 24 containers per node maximum... so 24 x $4.95 = $118.80 income, pre every cost.  So either 32GB boxes or more...

$4.95 for 1.5GB~ of RAM...  < $3.30 per GB of RAM... yeah... alrighty... 42 plans on 64GB of RAM  $207.90 pre all costs on a full node...    on rented gear... Can someone pull this off? Yeah when they live at home and have no bills and where a company is rain so lean that blinking wrong can...

Necro'ing this since it's relative to same conduct by the OP. OP's website, link: https://www.myserverplanet.com/company.php(which I was visiting to learn more about this company)... Bottom of the page it says: What makes MyServerPlanet different? We maintain green data centres. Commitment...

    Synology LAN speeds?

That's a dual core 800Mhz model, right?  Not entirely slacky. Seems like the throughput achieved is less than half of their claimed performance.

LowEndTalk owners & admins promote racism

... and ... LET defines itself in the Cestpit as, “generally a low-moderated forum and we like it like that”. The net is a far more brutal... The OP should get PC site filtering and blocking (not kicking him/her as I run heavy filter lists myself to filter out spam, ad crap, bad actors, etc.)...

Anyone running solar powered stuff at home?

I'll be the first idiot to say this true. DC is capable of injury so don't discount and get sloppy.  Cross connecting bus bars or battery terminals is mighty ugly instant discharge. Normally in leaky situation where you are grabbing positive and negative leads it's kind of like a nerve burn...

Outback, BINGO... Good company, long recommended as leader on the pro builds of bigger systems for residential market. I need to watch video on Midnite folks.. Anything built in the USA peaks my interest.  We need more of that and more buying of such.

Anyone running solar powered stuff at home?

USB power = $10 step / buck converter.  12V to 5V @ 1-3A depending.  That's simple and cheap... and easy to keep stock spare (another point with solar - must be your own inventory control for when things break and they do). Inverters - pure sine are pricey.  $200 is a big chunk.  Talking 200...

LowEndTalk owners & admins promote racism

So the offending comment was?!?!?! "plz don't "terrorize" this forum"? Has political correctness cut out tongues from our mouths now?  Is the terrorize on the figurative language DO-NOT-FLY list? I could just as easily widely slap at the US and UK and say: "plz don't "bomb" this forum"  <--...

Anyone running solar powered stuff at home?

24v would probably be optimal.   Those better controllers allow mix and match voltages - like solar input at one voltage and batteries at another. There are DC-DC converters of all sorts - like 24v to 12V and 48V to 24/12V.  Might be best approach for you since invested in good / costly...
