That's at least what Marc said. Supposedly he's had a rough time with them over network performance, etc.
He also claimed more locations were coming soon.
Personally I think the section is needed.
It'll allow users that are signed in the ability to hide the section from their 'new content' pages if they deem so.

We went ahead and added bitpay to our supported payment methods a few weeks ago.
I don't expect mountains of signups because of it but I like the perks of it all.

I'm surprised by his comments that he was having major issues with the provider. I've honestly never heard any complaints in regards to his setup there so I was a little confused when I saw he moved.

Actually I can tell you exactly what went on since I was involved in the initial hand over.
Scott became generally sick of where the community was with things and had spoken to me at least once prior about handing the site over to someone who cared
In January colocrossing contacted him to buy...

Yes, but one's dedicated and one isn't. :)
You aren't going to find a provider that lets you rip 150 - 200MB/sec to the disk all you please for $30/month like Gabe was doing.
It was an interesting idea :)

There is in IOPS :)
With the dedicated drive you can slam it all day long and it should be of 0 concern to the host.
It's an interesting idea but takes a lot of jiggering to pull off.

What was he selling in the game? Was there in game ads?
At least on the android one I saw nothing 'extra'. At first I thought that there was 'levels' but no, it was just a rage fest :P

Fry's is pretty cool but fairly overpriced.
I needed power adapters for our SSD caches (or so I thought) and it ended up being $100+.
Got back to fiberhub and it ended up they had a massive stack of the ones I *really* wanted (instead of the cobble together I did with frys' cables) and simply...
That pizza joint had the sketchiest washroom i've ever seen. I felt like when I sat on the john that a dick was going to fly out from one of the holes in the wall.

I'm not sure about that.
They had servers with a good half dozen+ providers when they first started.
I think a lot of their stuff was mostly where Justin could find affordable deals on everything. When they moved into CC they lowered their node counts since they were using E3's now.
I know he mentioned an Uncle was sick or even possibly passed. I hope i'm wrong on the passing part, but I do know he said it was the person who raised him.

Can't you just use one of the bootstrap theme builders out there and replace the .css files?
I doubt Solus did anything special outside of stock bootstrap 2.3
We'll see :) Technically what I have in mind should mean 'instant' snapshots w/o the need to power off. The problem with that is things aren't in a 'quiet' state. You could very well end up with crashed SQL tables because they weren't closed properly.
