ChicagoVPS / CVPS Hacked. New SolusVM exploit? (Content Restored) [PT. 1/2]

Motherboards isn't something we kept spare in NY since we have so few KVM nodes there. We missed the "nest day window" on amazon by a few hours so we lost a whole day. Francisco

ChicagoVPS / CVPS Hacked. New SolusVM exploit? (Content Restored) [PT. 1/2]

Didn't someone post that they had central backup servers in at least 2 of their locations though? I'm assuming solus has some sort of 'mass restore' option from that? Francisco

Stallion 2 - pictures and daily updates :)

Disabling is a no go. If your VM is slamming the hell out of alerts you better look into it :) Especially if your VM gets suspended for being exploited. Francisco

Stallion 2 - pictures and daily updates :)

That's just awesome. Thanks boss :P At this point we have 2 outstanding list pages for the admin side to complete. I have some final provisioning testing to do for KVM's but other than that we're looking good. Aldryic has been working away at the import script. We're likely going to schedule...

Hostbill Source Code Released and 0-Day Exploits Found

The majority is still compiled though. What is decompiled isn't even source you can throw in and go 'tada!' since the source is all over the place. There's more than a few spots where you'll see Exception new ( ) throw('.......'); Francisco

Providers - VPS Control Panel Nearly Completed

I don't doubt you writing it, I'm just wanting people to get a feel for what 95% is :) Is there a WHMCS module? IP pool management? 'Per node IP groups'? bandwidth accounting? provisioning? I was positive at one point it said 95% complete so I was a little confused is all. Options are...

Providers - VPS Control Panel Nearly Completed

Honestly it comes off as NEON with a new logo and some pages trimmed back. It was likely used as a framework to speed up dev? Francisco

Stallion 2 - pictures and daily updates :)

To whomever shoved /sbin/reboot into /etc/rc.local on the test VM and rebooted it? Well played. You get a +1 for trolling me for a few minutes :D Francisco

SolusVM database dump, what is in a full dump file

Right, should have split that up :) E5's can do 768GB chipset wise. Not sure if there's boards that support that though. Francisco

ChicagoVPS / CVPS Hacked. New SolusVM exploit? (Content Restored) [PT. 1/2]

The snippet from above was the source of the last exploit. If there's new code and solus patches it? You're then "fine" to post it since you've at least done due diligence by the vendor. 0-day'ing it is seen as 'poor taste' :P Francisco

SolusVM database dump, what is in a full dump file

Most nodes are. They have a few E5's in LA I think? And some legacy E5620's in BUF/CHI I'm guessing. The 56xx's and E5's can take a decent amount of RAM (96 - 128GB RAM) but the E3's are 32GB MAX. Francisco

    SolusVM Vulnerability

If someone has the snippet somewhere I can look it over really quick? It's possible whatever it is, is just 'handled poorly' but if it's all internal already valid data it wouldn't cause issues. Francisco

ChicagoVPS / CVPS Hacked. New SolusVM exploit? (Content Restored) [PT. 1/2]

We originally used solus but broke away after they pulled BS with us and modifying a few pages. Stallion 1 still uses a very old solusvm skin though. Francisco

ChicagoVPS / CVPS Hacked. New SolusVM exploit? (Content Restored) [PT. 1/2]

It isn't for sale. I will likely give a few hosts a free copy but I haven't decided who. Francisco
