    Importance of A+B Power?

For a virtual server I doubt it. For what it's worth Linode doesn't have A+B in Fremont at the very least, who knows about the other locations. We haven't got A+B in Vegas yet but it's on the way. Rob's still finalizing it all and I will not be bugging him about such a critical thing. Francisco

What are features you as a client want to see

Back on topic ;) We've already covered the v6 stuff in the stallion 2 thread. Allocating /112's might be a way to do it, but it may become a pain in the ass with all those gateways D: Unless they did 'soft' subnets..??? Francisco

What are features you as a client want to see

Wow! But it's still bound to a single location which is what Solus would have an issue with. I'm not saying it would be impossible for them to support it, it's likely just a pain in a butt feature that a very very small part of their client base can make use of. Francisco Francisco

What are features you as a client want to see

I think it comes down to Solus will have a pain in the butt of a time getting that in place due their client base. Are /48's handed out that much by providers? I assumed most providers were just doing a /64 each and if you have a ton of boxes they MIGHT break you off a piece of that kitkat bar...

Stallion 2 - pictures and daily updates :)

Yea the login page is something I spent quite a bit of time trying to make work on mobile. Most of the panel is pretty mobile friendly. There's some large data tables though that don't look all that great. http://elvery.net/demo/responsive-tables/ I'm thinking the "No More Tables" example may...

    Statistics and logging

There's 2 options on the table right now: - Central node stores all stats. Using something like leveldb we can batch the writes and lower the overhead by quite a bit. We could likely have it running w/o much issue on a fairly basic 4 disk RAID 10 w/o any ssd's. - Each node handles its own...

Stallion 2 - pictures and daily updates :)

Hi Everyone, Been a while since I've updated this but here goes. Our WHMCS module & API is almost 90 - 95% complete with only a few last hooks needed. We fully expect to have 10 - 15 VM's available this weekend though WHMCS that will have a coupon to make them free. The VM's will provision to...

    Is HVH owned by Colocrossing?

It would cost way too much to go direct L3. Jon said it was like $5k/m per gig unmetered. Yes, the blend was supposed to be much better but things in NY are stable enough. NY is just a "pod" for us and is more so to just test the east coast waters. Stallion 2 will likely have us focusing on...

    Is HVH owned by Colocrossing?

And that's why I don't break their balls over Level3 :) I know L3 has had a few deals for a bug a meg on 10 gig commits just to try to get some markets going but I didn't think Buffalo was one of them. Francisco

That includes the gig unmetered our rack came with :P Francisco

    Is HVH owned by Colocrossing?

Nah nah. The $999/m covers or initial 20A. If we want another 20A it'd be $250/m more. It's seen as a really dirty thing to try to make profit off power and is genrally shunned upon from what i've seen. Francisco

    Is HVH owned by Colocrossing?

We pay $999/m as the base cost on our rack. Power is like $250/m per 20A or so? We don't use support much and more often than not when we do It justifies them billing us network admin time. Francisco

    Is HVH owned by Colocrossing?

That $699/m deal is insane if it's true o_O I can't complain about Buffalo. It gives us minimal headaches and while we're not getting Level 3, I knew there was no way we would continue getting a gig of Level 3. I've gone over this multiple times though. Francisco

    Statistics and logging

I think the best way we can handle it is have each node handles its own users. Each server running their own stats accounting would mean that about a years points will take 3 - 5GB/node. This is far more manageable than us running a central collection node that would need 4 - 8 SSD's and...
