    My observation from this thread and other similar threads in the past: providers who have actually tried out accepting Bitcoin have positive experiences, in the meantime there are a few people who haven't tried it and are presenting it as the apocalypse.

    You could say the same about BitTorrent. Liberty Reserve and e-gold didn't offer any distinguishing features for "legitimate" users. Bitcoin does. That alone is enough to break down that entire comparison. Coinbase and BitPay make this a non-issue, through instant exchange. I think a few...

    What I personally miss there (and in many other tools), is the possibility to do cropping and basic annotation (arrows, freehand line drawing, boxes/circles). I also don't like FTP :)

    This. Bolding for importance: never ever ever ever EVER trust the client to do the validation, no matter what you're validating. Client-side validation is purely for user experience purposes (such as instant feedback and marking invalid fields before the form is submitted), not for security.
