*IF* I use a third-party resolver, I typically stick with Level3.  I won't even use (or recommend) Google's any more - their penchant for data collection is well past the creepy stage, and just because "I'm not doing anything wrong and have nothing to fear" doesn't mean I want some freakshow...

Out of curiosity.. what's the one service preventing you from locking SSH down to key access only?  If it's something like FTP you could always go the SCP/SFTP route.

Most of the providers that would accept shady payments are the types that would eat the 5$ rather than report the fraud anyway - the last thing they want is an investigation and having their own dirty secrets float up.

And this is why I will recommend FiberHub to anyone needing colocation/etc.  Rob absolutely won't tolerate that kind of theft - even when the feds have paperwork, if there's so much as a single typo he'll send them packing.  I can't begin to describe how nice it is to not be constantly stressed...

Newp, Staminus for both. CNServers had a *TON* of issues, and a rather annoying tendency of 'solving' problems by telling us "Get rid of this client, they run a CN gameserver and we won't protect them".  Funny how many US/CA/UK/etc clients we had running Chinese games.... Also worth...
