Considering that Spamhaus is an anti-spam organization, and ColoCrossing is not only known for willingly selling to spammers, but outright lies to Spamhaus about dealing with them.. well, sure, of course Spamhaus is going to treat them more harshly.  And I don't fault them in the slightest for it.

If I chose to use a screwdriver to drive a nail, especially when efficient and affordable hammers are easy to come by, then it is indeed my own fault.

That's your provider's fault, not Spamhaus.  Try hosting with legitimate companies that actually handle abuse reports instead of CC/HF 'providers'. Spamhaus doesn't do /24 listings on us, just the offending IPs. They know me on a first name basis, and know that I handle any SBLs within hours -...

Their Spamhaus woes are less a consequence of poor administrative choices, and more due to poor business choices.

I wonder how long CC's... clients will feel that the low costs is worth the repeated listings before more start bailing out.

ServerCrate (Owned/Run by Robert Clarke) has a nasty reputation here due to Clarke compromising RamNode (and attempting to compromise other providers) in the past, causing Nick a ton of grief.  Relevant -

If said individual is the cause of the listing, then it's their responsibility.  Otherwise, the provider is at fault for selling them a dirty IP to begin with. That's for moral responsibility, however.  As far as practical - if you are a client of a provider shady enough to receive such...

I'm somewhat surprised nobody has mentioned the more malicious option of placing said stickers onto random vehicles.  In places the owner would surely notice.
