    BuyVM.NET / BuyShared.NET - Shared - $5/year | Resellers - $2.00/month! Dedicated IPv4! SSD RAID!

Yay LV Shared node will be having maintenance! My reseller account is dying at random times daily. Although just for a short period. Can I also mention the slow page loads and random 500 error despite increasing PHP memory? Just happy with the upcoming upgrades!

KVM on OVH/SYS using recommended configuration with Virtualizor & SolusVM

Well this answers my concern on whether to use LV or disk image on KVM guests, nice tutorial by the way :) Is it possible to install virtualizor on nodes with existing guests already or is it advisable to begin from scratch?

KVM I/O question for VPS providers

I've read about KVM I/O and the first issue I'm concerned with is the best way to store virtual disks for the guest VMs? They say using LVM is better than disk file images. Assuming there is hardware RAID in place, what's the best way to go? Also, raw or qcow2 or other storage format? Any pros...

I had an old Nook with a handy dandy Book Light lol :(

    Kindle vs actual books?

From the classic Nook to a Galaxy tablet, I say Kindle (app) is a life saver. Dedicated e-book readers are terrible for PDFs, graphs and anything having to do with technical papers. Unfortunately, I tried this path when doing my academic thesis. I recommend getting a 8-10" tablet and install...

Comfort host, any thoughts about them?

Just fishing for some feedback/review on them in general. Any positive, or most importantly, negative reviews about them? It's actually hard to search about this company although it is said to have existed since 2007 (or later I'm not sure).

I have an unused owned Blesta licensed (although it expired already, there is a $45 renewal fee from what I remember) and looking to trade it for owned Clientexec license. Any offers? :)

How can we make the Daily Server Deals website a better experience for you?

Here's some honest opinions. The layout is confusing for new visitors. I visit that site from time to time to check for interesting offers. Every time I go there, I'm always confused. There are some usability issues there, for example: "1 Plan listed (1 available)" <-- those should be links...

Do you sell domain names too?

My country's ccTLD sells fast, you just gotta have a nice registry partner! Price your domain with just a little bit lower than the average pricing i(n my case) :P Some background story, our ccTLD is monopolized by a single company only, there has been a lot of legal drama in the past and for...

Are the $3.5 SSLs for 1 year only? Last time I see it, it's for 5 year prepayment. Thanks, I'll contact them about this.

What internet jobs are worth pursing?

Hmm.. it depends on what type of pay you're looking for. It's hard to earn from internet jobs, and if you do, it'll take months to get a sufficient pay.  There are several: virtual assistance path (odesk, freelancer, etc) - programming is useful here content creation path (writing/blog...

Writing a client management system for a side project, feedback wanted.

As foolish as it may seem, this actually happens :( Angry customer raging on a ticket saying can't login and can't reset password.  Then there is the "i have setup IMAP properly why can't i get emails for days!!!", after digging exim and logs, the customer forget she has a dash on her domain...

    OVH vs Hetzner dedi

Not a direct OVH client but the gameserver I frequent to is using them before (EU). Ping from Asia is acceptable, speed is not a problem. But yeah, get DDoSed and you're down frequently, sometimes longer.

    ChicagoVPS acquires 123systems

Oh so that's what happened, I didn't know that. I got a pretty good deal from HVH when I needed to migrate before. Nice people to talk to, fast response even when I am from the other side of the globe. A few months after, I was getting billed by CC in my credit card. Despite what happened, I...

For logos, try dryinkdesign.com. Note: without `s` after design, that's a different agency, lol.
