I got a dedi box in LA a few weeks ago and I notice that it has slow upload speed.
From an Orlando VPS, it can only seldom hit 1Mb/s. I'm trying to upload from another LA VPS (different datacenter) and highest I can get is 0.7Mb/s.
Btw, I have 100mbps port. Any tips on diagnosing this...
Working on a PHP/MySQL based self-hosted e-commerce website targeting local small online shop owners.
Most solutions right now can overwhelm/intimidate non-tech savvy users and no one is offering a simple yet complete point-to-point (from order to shipping) software which is based locally...
I am no expert on this so don't take my word for it but Fiberhub's network is great. Too bad, I had to move to an LA location and download speeds there are so poor. The only time where you can max it out is when downloading from an LA location also. Tested on dedis with 100mbps port.
24K support and billing do not respond to my tickets since Aug. 25. Although I'm happy that my backup servers are still online, I think I need to move away now.
I need to replace my backup VPS as soon as possible, provider has been unresponsive lately.
Max budget is $7, storage space min. 200gb, hopefully 500gb? or 1TB if possible with quarterly payments.
Any location is okay.
Thank you.
This is a bit off-topic but can anyone please give me a quick summary, if possible.. or delete this thread if this is not allowed.
What happened between EOR and CC?
I was not aware of this, I was a previous client of EOR and used them for srcds game servers.
Unfortunately, Silverknight is merging with HostNIC and moving all servers to Florida. That's why I am looking to move, or at least transfer to Versaweb if they will permit.
Please recommend dedicated server providers around Los Angeles or Las Vegas location, with budget not surpassing $170.
Here's what I know so far: Versaweb, CC and sub-brands, Quadranet
I appreciate if you can also leave a small feedback on your recommended providers.
Thanks a lot! :D
I'm duplicating backups to a secondary location and I got this: "rsync error: error allocating core memory buffers (code 22) at io.c(600) [sender=3.0.6]".
I don't do this automatically so I used root account to perform this task. Any suggested fix on this one?
Should I increase ram...
