While very true, it would be rather counter-productive, as the primary reason we're doing the panel is to break free of the "low end" mold.  :P  We'd briefly discussed releasing a public version of S2 (without the new features we're adding).. but that would honestly just be too much extra work...

  Quite possible with a little bit of SQL tweaking (simply adding a table, or adjusting the tblclients depending on how you wanted to tier it), and editing the administration .tpl for viewing a client's profile.

We did VMWare back with the Frantech brand.  Would be good for a smaller company specializing in managed services... but if you like automation or easy fixes for clients, not a good thing -_-

You're partially correct.  There was (and still is) a booter hitting the site's IP - it just took me a few minutes to get it properly filtered; hence the slow load times earlier.
