They were obviously not just formatted.  The've been wiped with Darik's Boot n Nuke after being in a RAID array.  Good luck recovering the data ;) Come on, I'm not just going to format disks and send them out ;)

I doubt it's been totally nuked yet.  Maybe this is unrelated, or simply due to so many outbound data migrations? I think if they were totally offline at this point then WHT would be blowing up a lot more.

Yeah I think this is the old default which has just been updated as new version of Solus were released.  I doubt you'll be able to fully make this work with newer versions of Solus without some heavy modification for new features, etc.
