The 5520 is a kinda old CPU.  Is that what you plan on using in production? Just curious.

Yep we do free upgrades if we don't have a specific item in stock and can't get it in a reasonable timeframe.  We have most dedis deployed within 24 hours so if we can't get hardware within that we'll do reasonable free upgrades.  This is referring to dedis of course.

No problem :)  Just bothers me when people throw around nonsensical lies because of what some people choose to do with OpenVZ.  Doesn't make it a bad hyper visor by any means.  It still has a bit less overhead than Xen/KVM and this will likely never change ;)

I'm getting really tired of seeing this.  Just because a node is OpenVZ doesn't mean the disk is any more oversold than a Xen or KVM setup could be.  In this case sure it probably is, but stop making generalizations that are totally without merit based on the same things everyone else is saying...

It would have to be lying providers. It could be about anything.  Talking big and bad about an office and not having one (can anyone guess who I'm talking about)?  Lying about outsourcing.  Lying about how long you've been in business.  Lying about overselling.  I'm sure I'm missing a few that...

Your view is one of the most respectable I've heard.  What I got out of it is "I don't personally want or care for guns but that doesn't mean others shouldn't be allowed to have them".  Assuming that's what you essentially meant then I respect that :)

That does look like a nice knife!  If it didn't have that serrated edge I'd probably go find one to buy lol.  I don't like serrated blades personally.

Yeah here in AL everyone has knives and seems like more than half of all of my friends and people I know in general carry concealed firearms.  Contrary to popular belief we don't walk around stabbing and shooting people around here either...

That is insane to even think about.  I couldn't imagine going through the day without mine simply for the utility it offers from opening boxes, cutting a loose thread on clothing, etc.  I use it almost daily and feel naked without it.

Looks nice but not really my style.  Here's my SOG blade. It's sharp as well.  Not too big, not too small.  The assisted open makes it an awesome one-handed operation knife.

It's really difficult to test as others have mentioned, but I like using things like iozone and bonnie that can get some pretty random work going all at once.
