They have modules for both, but I haven't tested either. I assume they both work.

    Whats your home connection speed?

At work my connection isn't all that great, but it does work. Here's my home connection. The upload is quite a bit slower while the download is quite a bit faster. I'm with Time Warner Cable. For a little over $100/month I get basic TV and Internet.

Blesta v3 will arrive on August 14th, $250 branded licenses

I just got an email from Blesta where they announced their plans to launch Blesta v3 on August 14th. Owned branded licenses will be $250. Updates will cost $39/year. You can also get a leased branded license for $12.95/month. So the branded and unbranded owned licenses cost just about the same...

    Power Outage: Residential

I'm very lucky. Every year or so the power will usually go out for less than a minute (usually some sort of surge from a nearby lightning strike) so that's not a real big deal at all. Every once in a while (5-10 years) the power will go out for a longer period of time as in an hour or more. ...

How is vpsBoard performance in your location?

Here in Lincoln, Nebraska on Time Warner Cable things are usually fine. Every once in a while pages will take a little while to load (primarily when I first go to the home page after a few hours of being offline). I have been noticing is that sometimes the user profile images don't show up in...

Anyone using a YubiKey for SSH authentication?

I also use Google Authenticator to secure SSH. It's nice to be able to have all of my SSH codes, as well as the codes for different online services including Gmail all in one app.

    Blesta, thoughts?

I've been messing around with it along with a bunch of other panels lately. It appears to be getting closer to release, and I agree with you. They really do have a chance to get at least some of the market share from WHMCS, especially with the cPanel and SolusVM modules that have already been...

    Top Providers Poll

CatalystHost - They've always been amazing. Great people with great services.  Backupsy - A new host that has been growing incredibly quickly. They offer really cost effective backup solutions and a nice custom control panel.  QuickPacket - I haven't been with them for very long, but so far...

Which OS do you use and why?

At home I have Mac OS X on my main computer, and Windows 8 on my gaming computer. I have a few older Windows 7 systems laying around just idling at home as well. I also have a Chromebook that has both Ubuntu and ChromeOS on it.  At work I use Windows 7 since that's what pretty much everyone...

    What's a good VPS?

Maybe a host that offers Minecraft hosting or Minecraft VPS hosting would be best for you. SimpleNode is a good example of a low end host that offers Minecraft VPS hosting.  Other than that I'd ask different hosts about running MInecraft servers. I'm sure you'll find some that will be fine with...

Stallion 2 - pictures and daily updates :)

Congrats on the new panel. I just experienced a pretty minor bug where if you request a password reset the email you receive has a link to the server's IP address. If you click the link it sends you to that server and says the reset key is invalid. When I copied the end of the URL onto the...

Reserving Disk Space you Purchased from the Oversold VPS providers

Last I checked the E5's start at around $500 a piece. A motherboard for the dual processors is another $500. Sixteen 8GB sticks of registered ECC memory would be $70/stick. Put all that together and you're looking at about $2600 excluding the hard drives, extension cards, and chassis.

    Down to 4 VPS

I have all of these. I've been slowly canceling more and more of them over the past couple of months. I may end up replacing all but a few of them since I ordered a dedicated server yesterday. 3x CatalystHost - 4GB,  2.5GB, 256MB the latter of the three is KVM, the others are OpenVZ. 2x...

    This is just not funny.

How's the humidity in Vegas? Where I live in eastern Nebraska it can get fairly hot as in 80-110 degrees in the summer. The problem is that it can get very humid here making things feel quite a bit hotter than it actually is. If you go to the western part of the state the temperatures are...
