    Solid State Desktops and Laptops

I have two older Crucial m4 drives. One is 64GB and one is 128GB. They aren't the fastest, or the biggest SSDs out there. but they certainly do perform much better than a hard drive. Whenever I use a computer that doesn't have an SSD you really notice the difference in system responsiveness.

New ICANN rules will require email/phone verification for domain registration

I just saw this article on The Verge and thought I'd share it as it's relavent to this community. Essentially it looks like it could be a whole lot harder to fake WHOIS information in the near future. When registering domains you'll need to have your phone number and email address verified...

Vote for your favorite graphics chip manufacturer

This is a real tough one. I have generally always preferred AMD for things like Eyefinity, more graphics memory, and those sorts of things. However lately I have really been liking the stuff NVIDIA has been doing with the 700 series.

    QuickPacket - Dual Xeon L5420 - 16 GB RAM - 1 TB HD - KVM over IP / IPMI - $49.99 per month

I was thinking of putting three to four Minecraft servers on the L5420. In total the maximum amount of people they would have on at once would probably be around 30.  I'm pretty sure that the L5420 could handle it, but the server runs so well right now at Catalyst I really don't want to waste...

    QuickPacket - Dual Xeon L5420 - 16 GB RAM - 1 TB HD - KVM over IP / IPMI - $49.99 per month

That's what I was thinking. I'll keep in mind that you have some customers who have been happily running Minecraft on their server.

    QuickPacket - Dual Xeon L5420 - 16 GB RAM - 1 TB HD - KVM over IP / IPMI - $49.99 per month

I'm really tempted to get one of these things to run several Minecraft game servers. Right now I have a really good deal on a couple of VPSs which I use to run the game servers. Something like this could really give me room to expand with the extra memory and disk space. I'm really just not sure...

    Self Hosted RSS Readers

I have mine on a 256MB VPS along with several other websites. Not quite 64MB, but not 2GB.

    Self Hosted RSS Readers

I use Tiny Tiny RSS as well, I started using it a few days after Google announced Reader was going away. So far I really like it. It has a fairly similar clean look to Google Reader which is great. You can even import your existing Google Reader items in to it.

    98 Cent .me domain

Yeah. Sadly the .me domains are pretty expensive to renew from most registrars. For about $15 these guys offer the cheapest renewals I've seen. https://www.blacknight.com/

    98 Cent .me domain

I picked up two of the domains. If you don't want YourName.me just put split the domain name into the two spots and you can register it. Too bad they don't allow renewals or transfers with this promo.

The mount for the Yeti is the Pyle-Pro PMKS7. It's not the most stable so it has to lean on a monitor, but it was only $15. Windows system Intel Core i3 2120 Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6870 Some cheap Foxconn H67 board 16GB of 1333MHz memory 64GB Crucial m4 SSD 500GB WD drive for games, 320GB WD...

Yeah. Same monitor as me. Do they work well for you as well? I think they're a great value since they're about $100 a piece.

Here's my setup. The left monitor is a Windows 8 system which I use to play video games when I have some free time. The three monitors on the right are a Hackintosh system which I use for everything else. I'm planning to get a "real" Mac when 10.9 comes out this fall.

    Where are you from?

I might as well post that I live in Lincoln, Nebraska. It's a pretty lower medium sized city with a little over 200,000 people. Even though there isn't a whole lot here I'd say that It's a pretty good place to live.

Told my server is out of memory by the Datacenter techs?

I'm sure they could just open up the server and unplug the cable that connects the beeper to the motherboard. Wouldn't even require a reboot.
