@BlueVM I moved my last two comments to private conversation. I think that provider talk should be private ;)

    Enterprise Custom Kvm Solutions linux/windows x86/x64 Starting @ $7.00

Doing any kind of ballooning is a bad thing to do. We don't do it at all either with Xen or KVM. The customer gets what he pays for.

@Enterprisevpssolutions still, why play games with customer's KVM RAM?

Providers who own their IP addresses

@KuJoe I don't know about that, I doubt that it can be any worse than using Ubiquity.

Aha, so you're doing that sort of stuff.

I'm pretty sure it's KVM and that it's just a typo.

    wrong forum delete

I've redid the design twice and both times people said that they don't want old LET back. I thing that @ you're wasting your time and putting allot of effort into something that people will ultimately reject. That being said, if you're interested in working on a similar project please send me a...

2GB OVZ VS 1.5GB KVM in NYC

OpenVZ is over saturated. We considered offering OpenVZ and decided to stick to Xen and KVM. However given your specs and target price you will have to oversell RAM on KVM and that will hit the SWAP really fast. However that's not by far your biggest problem. Your nodes will be a magnet for...

Affordable Webhosting Gets Better With Age

@SeriesN There is nothing wrong with your company name or logo. Only God knows through how many names I've changed until I've finally found what I liked and works for me (Phoenix VPS). This is just my personal oppinion from a non-expert marketing perspective: I'd use a more "superhero like"...

KVM with 100mbit unmetered or 30TB on gigabit

The general rule of thumb when you are looking for something is "as affordable as possible", however in this case I guess if you propose a budget for what you are looking for it would be helpful.

25.1gb/s attack incoming flood - advice?

@Francisco the only reason why I've said to @netnub to try Awknet was because you've mentioned them before, and I quickly checked their web site and it seems that DDoS is what they specialize in. Personally, I have no experience with them. However I value your expertise and respect your opinions...

    I'm speechless...

@wearehidden nah, @texteditor was just pointing out that you did something wrong. He didn't mean it in an insulting way. People around here have a thick skin so they can take a joke or criticism ;-) @wearehidden well, no, don't mind @shovenose, he was just trying to be sweet  :P That's his way...

    I'm speechless...

@shovenose no I'm not, because if someone has a valid point to make then he should be able to write it down in a few coherent sentences, which he did after I told him that it was TL;DR. Anyway, what are you doing here, getting bored?

    I'm speechless...

I hope that you understand that whoever signs up for that VPS is responsible for it. An unprivileged user account under Linux does not make that VPS hack proof. If people want to get out to the Internet and they are blocked they can easily purchase access to a VPN, like http://vpn.sh. I have...
