    VPSBoard New Logo

To add to my post a few posts above: I like the favicon and would use as the main logo: Slightly enlarge the favicon and move it above the "vpsBoard" text on the logo. Remove the horizontal placement of the callout. Sitting next to the text it doesn't look right.

    VPSBoard New Logo

Too much empty space around the call out. Why the call out pointing down to no-where land? With all due respect to the designer but it looks very amateurish.

    Any unique web hosts?

Besides your location argument, I would have to disagree with your post. The top hosts differentiate themselves quite well: top end server hardware (fast cpu, fast disks, etc) great support (quick replys and standing behind their product) great uptime What more could one ask from their...

There are still good people in this world.

Read the top of your original post...the part about "this customer made me cry..." Anyways, sorry about your business.

Now Hiring For My "F-A-F Campaign"

Honestly, this Royal dude has some serious issues...dude, seek help from someone (professional or family/friends). Not one of his posts made any sense.

There are still good people in this world.

Ok, so shovenose sent himself a "going out of business notice" and he is proud of it? From what I could gather, shovenose is the provider and client all at the same time. I don't get it.

How do you usually sync files across servers?

For large files with rsync: rsync -ah --progress --timeout=15 --partial -e ssh /local/file [email protected]:/remote/dir/

I don't know if the OP is trying to undermine his competitors, but his posts are certainly odd.

Choopa sends out Vultr to drown in the DigitalOcean

It's not just similar features...the actual website is an obvious copy. Vultr is not being lauched by some kid from his parents house...no excuse.

Choopa sends out Vultr to drown in the DigitalOcean

Jezzus H, you guys weren't kidding about the website being pretty much the same as DO!! Not only the blue, but the green, yellow and blue markers in the middle. Really shameful, I would be embarrased to put something out like this.

What's the difference between DigitalOcean and other VPS companies?

Not to mention their VPS perform much better than most others...in my limited testing/usage only, RamNode and BuyVM have faster VPSs.

    Best vps tutorial site?

I don't understand why you would want to look for a vps tutorial site. Think in terms of OS i.e. Debian, CentOS, FreeBSD etc. Learn the OS you want to run. Don't get used to front ends...learn the shell (command line).

    DNS: Route53 vs DNSMadeEasy

I have used both and can tell you that DME is faster and is much more customizable than Route53. Note: The last time I used Route53 was about 2 years ago and don't know if things have changed since that time.

    The pets thread

Oh yes, a Praying Mantis...one of my favorite insects! I don't currently have any pets, so the "wildlife" in my backyard are my pets for now. I used to see them on a regular basis in my backyard about 2-3 years ago.

    PHP-CGI vs PHP-FPM on NGINX

@ Rendus I am truly sorry that my post and the OP's didn't live up to your extremely high standards for forum posts. Really...may you find it in your heart to forgive us lowly peons.

    PHP-CGI vs PHP-FPM on NGINX

@coreman The sites that I am running are mostly static with only a few php pages. If I was running a full php site I would likely be using php-fpm. Regardless, I got better overall performace with php-cgi for my configuration.
