Cloudflare whmcs WAF rules vs Modsec typical whmcs rules

CloudFlare WAF had a lot of false positives last time I tested it out, which was around 2-3 months ago. They were blocking legal requests and broke BitPay and WebMoney payment modules. Sure, that is fine. False positives happen. Everything would be ok if the were willing to fix the issues...

Robert Clarke DDoS'd Brings the Internet Down...

That's fake. It's been known for AGES.  https://isc.sans.edu/forums/diary/When+is+a+0day+not+a+0day+Fake+OpenSSh+exploit+again/8185 antisec released a fake exploit just to make skiddies rm -rf themselves for the lulz. Heh, old good times -_-

The truth about Mao and BuyVM

Or he could fill another 10 pages with exactly same re-phased shit as he's been doing since page 2... just because someone was mean to him on the Internet. Guess what, the Internet is a cruel place.

To Phone or not to Phone

I prefer emails. Got an urgent issue? Fine, I will have it pushed to my iPhone instantly.  I always found doing support via phone annoying from some reason.

nfdump(network traffic & nullroutes), Pingdom, Observium and bunch of custom-written scripts.

    Ding! Dong! Santrex is dead!

Yes, correct, still dead. The website is online, but all services have been out-of-stock for some time now. There is no court case though. The LTD has already been liquidated. The only "case" was liquidation process which was approved, even though responsible person from Santrex didn't show up...

GreenValueHost tells their non high paying clients to GTFO

If the servers were overloaded, how about you upgrade its hardware *and* optimize your HTTPD? Or suspend a few clients that abuse their fair-share? It's not a rocket science. It will always happen on a default cPanel setup at some point but any average  Linux administrator should be able to...

VPS provider with cheap cPanel licenses?

VPS provider with cheap cPanel licenses?

cPanel INC directly does $11/m internal licenses. BuycPanel normally does $11 if you have a few 100 licenses. I wonder how many licenses other providers who go lower than $11 have, or they make a loss on licenses only to sell a VPS.

Feathur Launch (VPS Control Panel => 0.6.0.1 => Free For Private Use)

Congratulations on pushing this to the public. Honestly, I thought this would be yet another failed project as the other 10s there were announced at one point.  Was this your first serious PHP project?

    SQL Injections and WAFs

CloudFlare's WAF block legit requests - for example BitPay and WebMoney payments. Instead of fixing false positives, they just suggested to whitelist IPs. Yeah, I'm gonna whitelist 100s dynamic IPs daily...  On the other side, Incapsula looks decent, I will test it somewhere this month. ...

    Ding! Dong! Santrex is dead!

You are too late. Their /18 is already mnt-by DUOMENUCENTRAS-MNT. In other words, BalticServers already took it.

    WeServeIT - Datacenter query (split)

1 and 2 are the top. Global-Layer has hardware in a nice datacenter but it's single homed to AtratoIP which may be going out of business soon - you see why single homing is bad!), probably due to Atrato's extremely cheap bandwidth. False advertising of Atrato uplinks in sales thread also...

    WeServeIT - Datacenter query (split)

The attack was aimed directly to my back, still no idea who, probably a competitor. It took 2 datacenters offline completely(Proserve and Serverius) until I found some decent ones - had 3 big migrations, ~1k customers back then. You would think Proserve did the the worst but if you read my story...

    WeServeIT - Datacenter query (split)

It's actually pretty crap, among worst ones in the NL together with Serverius. Coming from someone who has used dozen of NL datacenters/networks in the past few years.  You were also very luckily to jump to Proserve network without knowing if DDoS would continue, because if your UK attacks...

    AtratoIP in the troubles

Actually, HostPace also went broke :P http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1276527&highlight=hostplate EDIT: You were faster.  LeaseWeb is pretty good but as with all massive providers, you are just a number there. Great network though.
