Home networking setup help. Using RaspberryPi to bridge wifi to network switch.

I have not tried to fully understand your setup, but here are my 2 cents: - Setup serial console access to the raspberry Pi, so you don't have to reinstall it every time something is botched with the networking config - When eth0 is on a bridge, the IP address / dhcp should not be on eth0, it...

    Raspberry Pi 2

Well, this little flash creates a high powered electromagnetic impulse very close to the electronics. And it seems this chip is very susceptible to electromagnetic interference. This could be avoided by shielding or something else, but is probably not necessary for the raspberry Pi. I am sure a...

    Raspberry Pi 2

If you don't want it to reset, put it in a metallic grounded case to shield it. You don't expect anyone to put rad hardened components in a $35 dev board, do you?

ARIN Stock Changes Feb 2014 - Down to 1.38

But it says "to request resources", not "to keep using previously given resources". I guess as long as the annual fee is paid to ARIN they don't care.

    Satellite Internet, anyone using?

No 3G? Satellite should really be considered as a very last resort, i.e. if you live in a very very remote place.

Here NAT is the norm for mobile / 3G based internet access. Residential / fixed access usually comes with a real IP.

Yep, the end is delayed. Plus all RIRs will get some additional space from IANA in March and then in September.

A tool to simulate shitty networking serivce that is comically named, "Comcast"

Considering how much they are charging for basic interhet access in USA i wonder why they can't provide better service. Granted with large distances in low population suburbs it's harder to build a network but from what i hear they suck even in densely populated areas.
