    WHMCS Override Auto-Suspend feature.

It will not be suspended for non payment in the next 5 days. It will be suspended on the day after the day you clicked in WHMCS if still not paid. After 5 days if it is still not paid it will be suspended. If it was paid in the meantime it will keep running. I think in the recent WHMCS versions...

GreenHostBox changing name and kicking all vps customers

So what's the point of kicking out all customers and renaming the company? If they want to start from scratch, why don't they start from scratch? Registering a new company is not expensive. I don't understand it, unless there is some specific asset they can't transfer and want to keep, like IP...

    So much to do!

A text file? Little yellow stickers? Or just use your billing / client management system to open tickets for some imaginary client. Your staff will see the tickets and do the work.

Largest Child Porn Ring Ever Disrupted ... in Canada

$6 millions of profit per month is not small, depending how it's calculated. This is profit after all, not income. But i guess it will be public knowledge soon enough, as KuJoe said.

    Ordering from Voxility?

@Francisco when do you expect to have it in NL?

    Ordering from Voxility?

Yes you can register an account with them and then you will be able to see the prices and place orders. I don't think you will like the 1700 EUR MRC + some setup fee price though :)

Check if a user is on a vpn / proxy

Just check AS16154. Of all the prefixes from this AS only several /24s are for VPS and dedicated server customers.

No Good Deed Goes Unrewarded: ColoCrossing Boots the Booters / DDoS

It's better to do it at the access layer, i.e. put every dedicated server customer on a separate VLAN and filter all his packets by source IPs. Unfortunately even some pretty large providers run big flat L2 networks with everyone in the same LAN, not isolated by VLANS. And some don't bother to...

No Good Deed Goes Unrewarded: ColoCrossing Boots the Booters / DDoS

    It's not BGP, it's BCP38 (Best Current Practice) - published in May 2000. https://tools.ietf.org/html/bcp38

    Raspberry Pi 2

What do you mean by "bigger drive"? USB mechanical drives suck big time, usually the manufacturers put the lowest quality HDDs inside, those that can't pass the quality testing and cannot be sold as standalone SATA HDDs. And the Raspberry Pi doesn't have a SATA port so it is limited to using USB...

    Raspberry Pi 2

Not for now. The 2EUR/month Kidecherie killed the Raspberry Pi market, it's not worth it to invest in new Pis. Also waiting for online.net to announce the prices for their ARM based servers.

ARIN Stock Changes Feb 2014 - Down to 1.38

A lot of deletions today and the stock went from 0.32 to 0.34. Maybe these were the networks of people who didn't pay their annual ARIN fee?

    Raspberry Pi 2

About a year so far without a single dead USB stick yet?
  15. R

    Raspberry Pi 2

Yeah, 12 MB/s write speed seems low. USB sticks can push more than this.

    The cesspit / chat thread.

Who has an owned WHMCS license? I want to know if the owned licenses can also benefit from a free additional dev license or not. (can't be bothered to open a ticket with WHMCS at the moment and ask them directly).

FraudRecord Public Dumps User / Customer Info

If there can be databases for credit rating / credit score and such, why there can't be other similar databases? What makes this one different from the database of bad debtors?

FraudRecord Public Dumps User / Customer Info

Probably. It also cuts down your customer base by 99%. Really, buying a simple hosting product should not be THAT hard in the 21st century.

    The cesspit / chat thread.

I think it's at least $20 per Mbps for real internet transit. Don't confuse residential speeds / residential bandwidth with real internet transit bandwidth.

    The cesspit / chat thread.

It makes sense, considering how much a Mbps costs in HK.
