I try to do things a little differently :P

The system is based on top of Proxmox, we are using a module for WHMCS. That allows all the VPS management to be done right through our website, instead of through a separate panel.

Before you reboot, you must change the boot order, so it boots the harddrive first. So it simply booted from the installation media, and not your harddrive, nothing was erased.
